Young People

We understand the importance of investing in future generations and nurturing talent. Take a look at our opportunities for young people.

School of Rock

Supported by Youth Music and in collaboration with Wigan Music Service we run a music school in which young people create compositions and hone their skills in live performance, lyric writing, song writing and stagecraft. In addition to these staples of becoming an active performer, our sessions allow individuals to develop a network of like-minded peers which can be a crucial asset to those involved.

School Of Rock is currently on hold whilst we work on the future of the programme. Watch this space!

Wanderscapes’ is our exciting new music project supported by PRS Foundation’s The Open Fund.

‘Wanderscapes’ is an experiment in creating and showcasing new music in a Covid-19 world. It is a project that will commission new music, showcase talent online, and will culminate in a Wanderscapes Journey – a physical walking route that invites you to explore The Old Courts building, green spaces and freshly created tracks.
