Bonjour Paul!

Paul is our events programming intern! Find our more about him in this Q&A!

Where in France are you from?

My native town is Laval, a little town of 80,000 inhabitants near to Angers.

Now I live in Clermont-Ferrand, it's a big city of 150,000 inhabitants in the centre of France in the middle of mountains. How would you describe where you’re from to people who haven’t visited? My native town is a lovely place, there are many music festivals.

Clermont-Ferrand, where I live now, is a city with many cultural events. What's great is that in a few minutes you can leave the city to go to the mountains, and in winter you can go skiing.

What do you do at The Old Courts? I'm event programmer intern. I have to find interesting shows to bring them at The Old Courts What do you like to do in your spare time? In my spare time I love to go to the bar with my friends and chilling! What’s your favourite film? My favourite film is "Coup de tête", released in 1979 by Jean-Jacques Annaud. It's a french movie with the famous french actor Patrick Dewaere.

What’s your favourite type of music? Hip-Hop music, with artists such as: IAM, NTM, Oxmo Puccino, Nas, Ceschi, Orelsan, Tupac... What do you think of Wigan?

I think Wigan is a good town with lots of cultural events, lots of sporting events and lots of Pubs!
