Quaintest Show on Earth
10th Anniversary Concert with special guests

Quaintest Show on Earth has featured a variety of musicians and songwriters. Playing locally perfecting their show, the artist/s then started to expand by taking it to larger and further afield audiences, including a residency in Japan. They have released 8 albums/ 3 EPs including self made studio recordings that have featured in HMV, legendary live shows, and a soundtrack that has played in ODEON Cinemas. With a brief appearance from 2013 battle of bands champions Stetsons Electric

Also joining the line-up on the night will be some of  QSOE’s favourite local artists who will, sharing with you a selection of their finest original music.

Stanleys

Your next chance to see this band in case you missed their show late last year!

Emerging from Wigan, Stanleys are the next in a long line of illustrious musicians to emerge from the North Western town. Bands and artists ranging from George Formby Senior and Junior to The Verve, Starsailor to The Lathums are proud to call Wigan home, eventually taking their poignant songwriting across the rest of the country and Stanleys are set to follow in their footsteps.

Joe Astley

Think The Beatles, think Dylan, think Soul and everything in between. Joe Astley is something of a force of nature from his pin sharp attire to his boundless energy, it’s easy to see why this proud Wiganer is a resident artist at the world famous Cavern in Liverpool.

Pelican Babies

This Standish based acoustic duo perform mainly original material encompassing folk/pop/blues with amazing playing, sweet harmonies and their secret weapon, the Didgeridoo!
