BAILIFF BAR

Bailiff Bar is our basement bar, serving an extensive range of drinks from craft ales, gins, whiskeys, prosecco, champagnes and cocktails to bottled beers and draught lagers. Being a bar in an arts centre, it's only right to bring you a regular dose of live entertainment. Expect Open Mic Poetry, Folk Night, Exhibitions, Live Music, Unlocked Original Music Showcase, Nowt Without Artists and Mixer, our multi-arts melting pot enjoyable to all.

Aside from the fantastic atmosphere, we bring you poetry, comedy, improv, singer/songwriters, Jazz, DJ’s and much more in our main bar and the Holding Cell. ‘Holding Cell’ is the intimate home to many of our specialised events that take place and has become a much-loved performance space. Think Edinburgh fringe meets The Northern Quarter!

There’s free live music every Friday & Saturday. Our other events take place on Thursday evenings.
