Wigan Children’s Choir Tuesday 6.30pm – 7.30pm (term time only)

These choir sessions are for children aged 7 + and include a wide range of music written with children’s voices in mind. This choir helps to build confidence and safely develop voices and part singing through a variety of songs and singing games. The choir perform at prestigious events and venues throughout the year and have lots of fun along the way.

Wigan Youth Show Choir Tuesday 7.30pm- 9.00pm (term time only)

Open to all students that love to perform. Aged 9+ these sessions centre around musical theatre and popular music with the addition of choreographed movement. You must be enthusiastic but don’t need any prior experience in singing or dancing. There are lots of solo opportunities within this choir. Younger children aged 9 and 10 may opt to stay on after children’s choir and attend show choir from 7.30pm-8.15pm if the full session is too late.

Wigan Youth Chamber Choir Tuesday 5.30- 6.30pm (term time only)

For singers aged 11+. This is a formal choir that sing a varied range of repertoire in 3 and 4 part harmony and is made up of Soprano/Treble/Alto/Tenor/Baritone/Bass voices. They perform throughout the year and are particularly looking to increase the number of male voices in the ensemble. If your child is passionate about singing, then this is the group for them!

Your child is eligible to attend a free 3 week trial, with membership fees chargeable at £42 per term once they commit to regular attendance. Family membership is also available at a cost of £72 to allow siblings to also attend. Membership covers attendance at any, or all, of our choirs/ensembles where your child meets the required age & standard. All choir members are expected to perform in end of term concerts. Sessions begin on Tuesday 8th September but singers are welcome to join us at any point in the year.
