Culture Unlocked: The Cultural Education Partnership for Wigan Borough

The overarching purpose of Wigan and Leigh Cultural Education Partnership is to work together to address the needs of children and young people in our area through arts and culture. Through collaboration, we will work in alignment with Arts Council England’s Creative Case for Diversity, Cultural Education Challenge and towards ultimate aims for our borough:

1. Young people have ownership, pride and a sense of belonging in Wigan’s cultural landscape
2. Consistent, universal and equal access to world class arts and culture on your doorstep – in school and the community
3. The cultural environment makes Wigan a great place to live, work and grow old.
