In this edition of Get Involved Socials, we’ll be speaking about youth engagement with Lynsey O’Sullivan.

LYNSEY O’SULLIVAN

Lynsey O’Sullivan is a local Creative & Cultural practitioner, Leader & Coach. Lynsey has most recently been in the role of Executive Director of Learning & Engagement at The Lowry- transforming the organisation’s work over the past 10 years with a strategic focus on Applied Arts practice with vulnerable children & young people.

Lynsey has worked extensively as an Applied practitioner in a range of settings including Prisons & probation, Museums & heritage settings, Schools & Grassroots community spaces across Greater Manchester as well as internationally in Asia & Europe. Her work aims to use creativity as a tool for social change.

Lynsey is now a freelance practitioner and consultant currently supporting a range of small, medium, and large cultural organisations in their strategic thinking and practice around Community engagement, Cultural democracy, Place making, Children & Young Peoples’ engagement, Diversity & inclusion, Safeguarding & Audience development.

Lynsey is a member of the Clore Leadership and STRIDE Women in Leadership programme.
