Influenced by his global journey from Mexico City to New Jersey and his love for British music eventually bringing him to the North West. Martim crafts a unique blend of acoustic music. Drawing inspiration from artists like Jose Gonzales, Bob Dylan, and Silvio Rodriguez, his sound is a tapestry of diverse musical influences.

Apart from his solo electronic project, Soul Bananas, Martim has been an integral part of various projects including Luna Marada and The Sonder Album. As a sound engineer, teacher, and workshop facilitator, his passion for music extends beyond performing to educating and inspiring others.

Having graced venues like The Eagle Inn, The Art of Tea, and Garstang Repluggled, Martim embarked on a busking tour across Portugal, Spain, and France earlier this year.
