We’re bringing you a brand new music night in the Bailiff, and lets just say you can expect something small and something jazzy – Pocket Jazz. Inspired by Valves, Vinyl and Jazz night, Haden Boardman will host a fun evening that will showcase local jazz new and old.

SAM QURESHI is an Alto Saxophonist and Composer of Jazz/Latin Music born in Pakistan, raised in Birmingham and based in Manchester UK since 1997. Sam has been a dedicated Jazz Musician for over 35 years and has played reputable London Venues such as Ronnie Scotts and The Blue Note and Jazz Café to name a few. The original music of Sam Qureshi is a unique hybrid of Brazilian Jazz formed of Bossa Nova and Latino stylings that are taking the world by storm.

In our friendly down to earth Bailiff Bar, famous for its real craft ales and friendly vibe, you can relax and chill. A playlist of jazz classics will mix it with our featured live Jazz artist. If you a new comer to jazz or an established fan, we hope the evening will entertain and educate. And as an incentive, the evening is free to attend.
