We’re bringing you a brand new music night in the Bailiff, and lets just say you can expect something small and something jazzy – Pocket Jazz. Inspired by Valves, Vinyl and Jazz night, Haden Boardman will host a fun evening that will showcase local jazz new and old.

Novembers act will be a four-piece band organised by Wiganer Kevin Bates.

Kevin has been involved in jazz all his performing life, having worked his way through the Wigan Youth Jazz Orchestra, he has performed with several jazz bands in the local area and tutors’ music from his studio on Library Street in the centre of Wigan. He is an active session musician working on musicals and tribute acts, and now with The Kevin Bates Band has his own jazz outfit, premiering with us in The Bailiff Bar.

In our friendly down to earth Bailiff Bar, famous for its real craft ales and friendly vibe, you can relax and chill. A playlist of jazz classics will mix it with our featured live Jazz artist. If you a new comer to jazz or an established fan, we hope the evening will entertain and educate. And as an incentive, the evening is free to attend.
